Handmade custom monogram leather wallet – write your own story!

This is my custom monogram leather wallet, built on the NELSON design in warm saddle tan. I cut it from full‑grain, vegetable‑tanned Italian leather and hand‑dye each piece, so the color, grain and future patina are never exactly the same twice.​

Hand‑designed custom monogram

For the monogram on the front flap, I start by designing a bespoke set of initials just for you – usually two or three letters in an ornate vintage style. I lightly etch the outline with a fine laser to place every curve with precision, and then bring it to life by hand with layered paint, adding depth, aging effects and soft shadows. The laser only guides the contours; all of the character, color transitions and volume are built up with a brush, so your wallet still feels like a small original artwork, not a mass engraving.​

Compact Nelson layout inside

Inside, the Nelson layout stays compact and practical: a full‑length cash pocket for unfolded banknotes and card slots that carry your everyday cards without adding bulk. The wallet is saddle‑stitched entirely by hand, the edges are carefully burnished and waxed, and a solid brass snap on the flap gives a quiet, reassuring click every time you close it.​

A personal piece, not a logo

It works as a refined everyday men’s wallet, but also as a one‑of‑a‑kind gift: a full‑grain Italian leather piece with a hand‑painted monogram that exists only in this single composition.

When placing your order, please write your initials (2–3 letters) in the order notes. Also make sure to include a valid email address – I will send you a monogram design preview for approval before painting it on your wallet.
